To install PC Card support

Requirements

♦ OmniBook 3000 with Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installed.

♦ OmniBook 3000 driver for PC Card support.

Location: OmniBook hard drive or Recovery CD in

\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WFW\PCCARD

1. Create a directory called C:\CARDWIZ.

2. Copy all files from d:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WFW\PCCARD\CARDWIZ to

C:\CARDWIZ.

3. Enter the following lines into the C:\CONFIG.SYS in the order shown.

Important

You can copy and paste these lines from the README.TXT file located in the PC

Card driver directory. The REM lines are not necessary. They are simply for

explaining the driver.

REM – OmniBook Socket Services driver required for card slot support

device=C:\CARDWIZ\SS365LP.EXE

REM -- Card Services driver required for card slot support

device=C:\CARDWIZ\CS.EXE /POLL:1

REM – Initial resource allocation required for card slot support

devicehigh=C:\CARDWIZ\CSALLOC.EXE

REM – ATA card driver required for ATA cards

devicehigh=C:\CARDWIZ\ATADRV.EXE /S:2

REM – Driver required for RAM cards

devicehigh=C:\CARDWIZ\MTSRAM.EXE

REM – Memory card driver required for all memory cards

devicehigh=C:\CARDWIZ\MTDDRV.EXE
