Installing a slot load optical disk drive
1. With power off and the side access panel open, remove any expansion card cables that might
interfere with slot load assembly installation.
2. Insert the optical disk drive in the carrier at an angle as shown in the following figure
.
Rotate the drive vertical and then push it down until it snaps into place

3. Connect the power/data cable to the optical disk drive as shown in the following figure.
TIP: Place excess cabling in the slot load optical bay.
