Configuring RAID Volume using the Option ROM on Windows 8/64-bit systems

Windows 8/64-bit systems must be imaged in UEFI mode. To configure a RAID volume in UEFE mode on these systems

using the option ROM, perform the following:

1. Turn on the computer.

2. Press F10 as soon as the monitor light turns green. If you do not press F10 at the appropriate time, you must restart

the computer, and then press F10 again to access the utility.

3. Select your language from the list, and then press Enter.

4. Use the arrow keys to select Advanced.

5. Use the down arrow key to select Option ROM Launch Policy, and then press Enter.

6. In the Option ROM Launch Policy window, use the up/down arrow keys to select Storage Option ROMs and the left/right

arrow keys to select UEFI only. Press F10 to accept (save).
