Removal and replacement procedures 50

Expansion boards

To remove the component:

1. Power down the server (on page 26).

2. Unlock the bezel (on page 27).

3. Remove the bezel ("Bezel" on page 27).

4. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 28).

5. Remove the expansion board.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

PCI-X extender board

To remove the component:

1. Power down the server (on page 26).

2. Unlock the bezel (on page 27).

3. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 28).

4. Remove the expansion board installed in slot 1, if installed ("Expansion boards" on page 50).

5. Remove the system air baffle and PCI card guide ("System air baffle and PCI card guide" on page

39).
