The fields available from the Plugin Registration tab are shown in Table 4-2:

■ If you are registering the plug-in, click Register.

■ If you are unregistering the plug-in, click Unregister.

4.3.3 vCenter Status

The vCenter Status option displays a list of vCenter Servers to which the 3PAR Management

Plug-In and Recovery Manager for VMware vSphere are registered. The vCenter Status

option is shown in (Figure 4-6).

Table 4-2. Plugin Registration Option Fields

Field Description

vCenter Server The name of the vCenter Server.

User Name The administrator user name.

Password The administrator user password.

NOTE: VMware vCenter Server 4.0 and 4.1 are supported in this release.

NOTE: The same instance of 3PAR Management Plug-In and Recovery Manager

for VMware vSphere can be registered with multiple vCenter Servers.

NOTE: The name of the vCenter Server entered during registration must be used

for unregistration. For example, if you used the fully qualified domain name to
