Known issues
The HP Web Jetadmin software teams are addressing the following known issues. For more information about
xes and product enhancements in future releases of HP Web Jetadmin, check this document regularly or use
HP Subscriber's Choice Alerts on www.hp.com.
1. CR 11319: The supplies levels for the HP Designjets HP PageWide XL 5000PS MFP and HP PageWide XL
8000PS do not display in this release. Also, the supply alerts for these models are not working. This will be
xed in a minor update to 10.4 SR2.
2. When starting the HP Web Jetadmin client on Windows Server 2016 and creating a Quick Set with
FutureSmart paper handling options, several options cannot be selected because the scroll bar is missing
in the Quick Set. This issue will be resolved in the next release of HP Web Jetadmin. Workaround: Start the
HP Web Jetadmin client from another Windows operating system (for example, Windows 10).
3. CR 11277: When setting the access control for device functions in batch mode, without specifying a default
logon and when no default sign-in method is congured, HP Web Jetadmin returns a success message
although the requested changes have not been set.
Workaround: Always specify the default sign-in method when conguring access control for device
functions.
4. Unable to congure WPA enterprise wireless for M202 devices. This will be xed in the new device
rmware.
5. CR 10913: Scheduled export tasks that have been upgraded to 10.4 SR2 will only export the devices that
were available in a group at the moment the task was created. Newly scheduled export tasks will export
the devices that are available in a group at the moment of the execution of the task.
6. CR 10905: Unable to read or set IPSec/rewall rules with HP Web Jetadmin on HP CM 6040 with rmware
higher than 13.2. Workaround: Congure the IPSec/rewall rules in the EWS.
7. CR: 10938: HP Web Jetadmin sometimes shows the value for ePrint services as <not supported>. This is
xed in FutureSmart rmware 3.8.4.
8. CR 11292: When adding the Copy Stamps (Custom) column, HP Web Jetadmin shows 6 default stamps,
including one item that should be hidden (Stamp Type: None). This will be xed in the next release.
9. 10866: During an upgrade to HP Web Jetadmin 10.4 SR1, data is copied from the Hewlett-Packard
directory to the new HP Inc directory. After the data is copied, the HP Web Jetadmin installer tries to delete
the Hewlett-Packard directory. If the Hewlett-Packard directory is open during the upgrade, Windows does
not allow the installer to delete the directory and the installation continues normally. After the installation
is complete, you might need to manually delete the following old directory:
C:\Windows\ServiceProles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Hewlett-Packard\HPWebJetadmin
However, before you delete the old directory, verify that the following HP Inc directory was created:
C:\Program Files\HP Inc\Web Jetadmin 10
10. CR 10791: For the HP DesignJet T830 MFP and HP DesignJet T730 devices, the error that occurred when
the Allow device to connect to HP Web Services check box on the ePrint Settings conguration option is
cleared and then the conguration option is applied to these devices has been xed in the June 2016
release of the rmware for these devices. This conguration option is available in the Web Services
category on the Cong tab.
