You are now ready to connect a cable from S10 line 1on the EMTs tern to an

S10 port on the system that you need to access.You need to use an S-232

extension cable because the system’sS10 output is cmf$ured as a DTE. Use a

null modem between the twos terns. When you are fimshed using the node in

the Remote mode, press the F function key to exit emt.

NOTICE:

The maximum S10 cable length must not exceed

15.24m (50 ft).
