Linearity
Linearity calculates a linear regres-
sion using the least square error for
the model y = a + bx. Linearity can
be carried out by multiple injections
and multiple determinations. Figure
30 shows the planning dialog of
checkpoint “linearity”.

Calibration function
The calibration function is the cor-
relation between the expected value
of the test characteristic, e.g. the
extinction (see DIN 55350 part 13),
and the content, e.g. a mass concen-
tration. You can choose the maxi-
mum degree of curve fit for the cali-
bration curve. 1st order is standard
and 3rd order is the maximum
(cubic curve). Figure 31 shows the
planning dialog of checkpoint “cali-
bration function”
