grouped together into the same drive array.

Removing hard drive blanks

CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays

are populated with either a component or a blank.

Removing hard drive bezel blanks

CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays

are populated with either a component or a blank.

To remove the component:

1. Remove hard drives 1 and 2 ("Removing a hot-plug SAS or SATA hard drive" on page 42).

2. Remove the hard drive bezel blank.
