2–18 HSG80 User’s Guide
1. Stop all I/O from the host to its devices on the bus to which you are
connecting the controllers.
2. Connect the Fibre Channel cable from Port 1 on controller A to Port 9
on hub 1. Repeat this step to connect the second cable from Port 1 on
controller B to Port 8 on hub 1.
3. Connect another Fibre Channel cable from Port 2 on controller A to Port
1 on hub 2. Repeat this step to connect the final cable from Port 2 on
controller B to Port 2 on hub 2.
4. Connect each hub to their respective host according to the instructions
in the Getting Started manual.
5. Route and tie the cables as desired.
Restart the I/O from the host. Some operating systems may require you
to restart the host to see the devices attached to the new controller.
