• After performing roll-forward, use Application Agent to perform backup from the primary volume

to the secondary volume, and then obtain a backup of the transaction log files.

In this case, when the second backup from the primary volume to the secondary volume is per-

formed, the contents of the secondary volume are updated. To perform restoration again, to the

secondary volume, the first backup from the primary volume to the secondary volume, first perform

restoration from the tape device to the secondary volume, and then perform restoration from the

secondary volume to the primary volume.

An error will occur if you try to back up the transaction log files without backing up the primary

volume to the secondary volume.
