Accessing iSCSI disks
If you want to make the iSCSI drive available on reboot, create the le system and add an entr y to the
/etc/vfstab le
as you would with a UFS le sy stem on a SCSI device .
After the devices have b een discovered by the Solaris iSCSI Initiator, the lo g in negotiation occurs
automatically. The Solaris iSCSI driver determines the number of LUNs available and creates the device
nodes. Then, the iSCSI devices can be treated as any other SCSI device.
You can view the
iSCSI d isks on the local system with the format utilit y, for example:
