The location of the external VHDCI SCSI connector for Port 1 is shown in
Figure 8-1.

To use a SCSI controller other than the integrated controller for the internal
hard drives, you can bypass the internal controller using the Integrated Array
Bypass Kit and an optional controller such as the Compaq 4200 Array
Controller. See “Installing the Integrated Array Bypass” in Chapter 5 for
installation instructions.
For external RAID support, use an array controller such as the Compaq 4200
Array Controller.
The Option ROM-based Array Configuration Utility (ACU) helps you
configure the hardware to suit your needs.
CAUTION: Back up your data any time you move drive arrays or change your
configuration.
