Console login dialog box appears.
http://IP-address-of-main-SVP (Web server)
Note:
If you are unsure of the IP address of the main SVP (Web server), ask the system
administrator.
3. In the Remote Web Console login dialog box, enter the user name and password and then

Dening Fibre Channel LU Paths
If you are conguring a Fibre Channel environment, you must take the following four major steps:
1. Find worldwide names (WWNs) of host bus adapters connected to the Fibre Channel ports
(see Finding WWNson page 33).
2.
Create host groups (see Creating Host Groups”onpage37).
3.
Group open-system hosts by host group (see “Registering Hosts in Host Groups” on page 39).
4. AssociatehostgroupswithLUs (see
Dening LU Paths by Associating Host Groups to Logical Volumes”onpage41).
Finding WWNs
If you are conguring a Fibre Channel environment, you must verify that Fibre Channel adapters and
Fibre Channel device drivers are installed on the open-system hosts. Next, you must nd the worldwide
name (WWN) of the host bus adapter that is used in each open-system host. The WWN is a unique
ident
ier for a host bus adapter in a open-system host, consisting of 16 hexadecimal digits.
This s
ection describes how to nd the WWN of a host. HP recommends that you make a record of
WWNs of the hosts in your system, because you will need to enter WWNs in LUN Manager dialog
boxes to specify the hosts used in your system.
