Troubleshooting

RUN ISTAT TEST

• Power cycle the jukebox.*

•

Run the INIT ELEM STATUS test under the

TEST * menu

• If steps above do not result in a READY display,

call your service representative.

Can't write to the disk. • Check the host file system access permissions.

• Eject the disk and check that the write-protect

tab on each side of the disk is in the

write-enabled position.

• Check your application software.

• If steps above are unsuccessful, call your service

representative.

*Ensure that the SCSI bus is inactive before removing power to the jukebox.

Removing power to a device on an active SCSI bus can cause data loss and/or

problems with the SCSI interface.
