Reference to the PRG for information about control character emulation which applies to keyboard

interfaces.

Country mode

This feature specifies the country/language supported by the keyboard when configured through the base.

Caps lock state

This option specifies the format in which the reader sends character data. See Caps lock state on page 24 for

programming bar codes and information.

Numlock

This option specifies the setting of the Numbers Lock (Numlock) key while in keyboard wedge interface. This

only applies to alternate key encoding interfaces. It does not apply to USB keyboard.
