8. Configure the Physical Storage component. The Storage Type is FC-SAN.
Select Select a storage template or Specify desired attributes. See “Physical storage
provisioning” (page 175) for a description of these options.
Select the Disk is bootable check box. Leave the RAID Level set to Any.
The setting for Redundant SAN paths to disk depends on the need for redundancy and any
defined logical server storage pool entries. Matrix infrastructure orchestration will search for
a matching storage pool entry for each service provisioned. If one is not found and the Storage
Provisioning Manager is in use, Matrix infrastructure orchestration will auto-generate a storage
pool entry and attempt to fulfill it through SPM. If no appropriate storage can be found (with
redundancy matching what is set in the template), the service create request will fail.
