Spinup Properties Screen
To access Spinup Properties, press Enter on the Spinup Properties field from the Advanced
Adaptor Pr operties screen. This screen enables you to view and modify spin up specific settings.
Spin up refers to the disk drives getting up to rotation speed during system boot. To reduce the
power requirement stress on the backplane a delay is introduced between drive spin ups.
Direct Attached Spinup Delay Time, in seconds, between each disk drive spin up (default
3 seconds).
Direct Attached Max Targets Number of disk drives that spin up at the same time
(default 1 drive).
Expander Spinup Delay Expanders are not supported.
Expander Max Target Devices Expanders are not supported.
