Description Sets the iSNS parameters.

Syntax

set isns [serv

ice=enable|disable] [server_discov-

ery=manual|dhcp|slp] [esi=<esi_port>] [entity=<en-

tity_name>]

Operands

service=enable|disable

[Optional] Enables or disables iSNS on the MSA1510i.

server_discovery=manual|dhcp|slp

[Optional] The method used to discover iSNS servers.

•Usemanual if

the iSNS servers are being added manually. (Default)

•Usedhcp if the iSNS servers are being discovered via DHCP.

•Useslp if the iSNS servers are being discovered via SLP.

esi=<esi_port>

[Optional] The TCP port used by the iSNS server for ESI monitoring. The

default port is 50000.

entity=<entity_name>

[Optional] The iSNS entity name for the MSA1510i. If no parameter is

speciﬁed, a

defaultentitynameiscreated.
