7.3 Using the configure server command
As described in Table 7-1, when a parameter value is changed, the configure server command must
be run for the affected servers. In some cases, only one server is affected; in other cases, the administration
and MDS servers are affected; and in a few cases, all servers are affected. Using the information provided
in Table 7-1, determine which server or servers are affected by the parameter you are changing, then run
the configure server command as appropriate, in one of the following ways:
CAUTION: Do not use the configure server all command to update the servers in this scenario.
• If only one server is affected, enter the configure server command for that server, as shown in
the following example, where the administration server (south1) is configured:
sfs> configure server south1
