4. Enter the configure system command, and then enter 2 to select the Configure Networks

menu, as follows:

5. The Configure Networks menu is displayed. Enter 2 to select the option to configure the

InfiniBand interconnect, as follows:

6. The Configure InfiniBand Interconnect menu is displayed. Enter 1 and then change the

partition key of the ipoib0 device to

0xffff. This will allow the servers to accept traffic on the

InfiniBand interconnect from any other system.

7. Delete each of the other interfaces on the InfiniBand interconnect, as shown in the following example,

where the ipoib1 interface is deleted:

This section is used to configure the InfiniBand network on all servers.

This network is used as an interconnect to client systems. If you do not

have an InfiniBand interconnect you can proceed to the next section.

You must assign an IP address for ipoib0. In addition,

if you use fabric paritioning you must add an IB interface for each

partition that the SFS system should access.

Note: a network device is marked as Unused if a Start IP for the

network has not been entered. Once a Start IP is entered the device

is marked as Inuse.
