6. The Configure InfiniBand Interconnect menu is displayed.

You must configure one interface for each partition where the HP SFS system is to be used.

If you want to use the ipoib0 device as the interface for one of your partitions, enter 1 and then

change the partition key for the device.

7. To add a new interface for a partition, select the Add IB Interface option, as shown in the

following example:

Configure InfiniBand Interconnect ----------------------------------------------

This section is used to configure the InfiniBand network on all servers.

This network is used as an interconnect to client systems. If you do not

have an InfiniBand interconnect you can proceed to the next section.

You must assign an IP address for ipoib0. In addition,

if you use fabric paritioning you must add an IB interface for each

partition that the SFS system should access.

Note: a network device is marked as Unused if a Start IP for the

network has not been entered. Once a Start IP is entered the device

is marked as Inuse.

8. The Add IB Interface menu is displayed. Accept the default of a and then enter the information

for the interconnect partition.

Add IB Interface (ipoibN) ------------------------------------------------------

This section is used to add a new InfiniBand Interface.

Adding an InfiniBand interface is only required when the InfiniBand fabric

has been partitioned.

The Start IP is the IP assigned to the Administration server. The addresses

of the remaining servers are determined by incrementing the address of the

Administation server.

The partition key is used to associate the IB interface with an InfiniBand

fabric partition. Enter the partition key used when creating the InfiniBand

switch partition.

1) Type of network vib

3) Netmask 255.255.255.0

4) MTU 1500
